22nd Annual Undergraduate Research Conference and 12th Annual Graduate School Information Program
July 21-23, 2016

Two of our confirmed keynote speakers include:

 President of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical (A&M) University, Elmira Mangum, PhD

 Senior Diversity Consultant, Educator, Sociologist, and Author, Samuel Betances, PhD

Our conference will again be offering: inspiring speakers; workshops; oral and poster presentations; a Graduate School Opportunities Fair; a University at Buffalo Graduate School Information Program; the popular Maid of the Mist Boat Tour; and much more!  Prizes, for students, are awarded throughout the Conference!!

 New this year is an optional University at Buffalo (North Campus) guided walking tour and visitation to the Creekside Village graduate student housing complex on Thursday morning (July 21, 2016)! Please be advised this event is optional because you will need to provide your own transportation to the campus and back to the Conference Center in Niagara Falls.

Registration (same rate as last year) is now open for this 3-day event and the early bird registration fee of $350 applies to paid registrations received by June 15, 2016. A general registration fee of $375 applies to paid registrations received on or after June 16, 2016.

This year’s Conference continues to promise you and your students a wonderful opportunity to:

  • Share/Present faculty-supervised research (Oral and Poster formats)
  • Participate in workshops
  • Attend a University at Buffalo Graduate School Information Program that includes meetings with Program Faculty/Staff/Students based on your graduate field of interest
  • Enjoy and Interact with inspirational speakers and panels
  • Survey a large number of graduate schools, from across the nation, at our Graduate School Opportunities Fair, and
  • Experience the culture and beauty of the Niagara Falls area including opportunities to visit area attractions

As always, it is our intent that your scholars will leave motivated and invigorated by a rich conference atmosphere.  Student presenters and non-presenters are welcome to attend this conference for inspiration, education, networking, and cultural enrichment! 

All undergraduate researchers are welcome including, but not limited to, those from McNair; SSS; LSAMP; and CSTEP Programs

Students presenting research as an oral or poster presentation must also complete the online proposal form, which includes a presentation abstract submission (of no more than 100-words), by July 8, 2015.  Presentation information and the proposal form can be found at
