Please find attached a flyer for a unique event aimed at students who may not yet have considered a CAS major as the best path to achieving their academic and career goals (i.e. students thinking about a “major” transition or likely to be required to make a “major” transition).
Ø This event is being organized collaboratively by Career Services and the College of Arts & Sciences as the CAS Dean’s Office has recently begun to take a more active role in retention and redirection of students including those not yet in the College. It also supports the objectives of Student Success & Retention, specifically the “Major Transitions” initiative.
Ø Several alumni from various CAS majors who are now working in a wide array of industries will be on hand to participate in Q&A with students and Ed Brodka from Career Services will moderate the panel discussion.
Ø Please post this flyer and share this event information with student who you feel could benefit from attending.
