Global Health Dialogues

Join us for every Thursday at 4 PM in 220 Hayes Hall throughout the semester for diverse and open discussions on issues of global health equity. Our stimulating line-up of speakers and your unique disciplinary perspectives will contribute to novel approaches to promoting equity in health and well-being for people around the world.

The first Dialogue of the semester will feature Dr. Stephen Luby on September 8th.  Dr. Luby is a Professor of Medicine and Senior Fellow at the Woods Institute and the Freeman Spogli Institute and Director of Research at the Stanford Center for Innovation in Global Health Stanford School of Medicine.

The School of Public Health and Health Professions will be hosting Dr. Luby on September 9th for the first Richard V. Lee Lectureship in Global Health. More information on Dr. Luby’s talk “Can Public Health Efforts Avert Imminent Human Extinction?” can be found here.
