Do you have a passion for social and economic justice? Do you have a passion for the environment? Are you interested in gaining hands on experience working in local government?
If so then apply to become an intern in Erie County Legislator Patrick B. Burke’s Office.

Since taking office in 2013, Legislator Burke has carried on the grassroots nature of his campaign, fighting tirelessly for the people of Erie County. He has put forth numerous proposals protecting fresh water sources from harmful contaminants, ensuring the safety of children playing contact sports, and working with community groups to revitalize neighborhoods and parks in the Seneca Cazenovia area. Legislator Burke received national media attention for his bill banning microbeads in Erie County as well as his PENCE Bill- outlawing the practice of gay conversion therapy.
