The Office of Assemblyman Sean Ryan is looking for interns for the 2016 fall semester. Students with an interest in urban planning, environmental conservation, communication, or government should apply. Hours are flexible and the projects are varied. Possible project topics include Outer Harbor development, water quality in local watersheds, green technology, 21st century city planning, general media relations, and transportation. Topics for research may be tailored to the interests of the individual.

In addition, we are looking for students studying or who have experience with creating video content for use in various media channels. Students should have access to video recording and editing equipment, and be able to film and edit video materials.

Some portion of the internship will include constituent services, administrative tasks, and issue-based community outreach; good communication skills are a must. The ideal candidate will have a background in the environmental sciences, communication, engineering, architecture, urban planning, or political science.

More than one intern position is available. This is an unpaid position but college credit can be accommodated. Please send resumes for consideration to
