Technical and professional writers work in a wide range of industries and fields—health and medicine, computers and engineering, finance, marketing and public relations, media and entertainment, government and nonprofits, and many others.
This course provides an introduction to the fields of professional, technical, and digital communication. Students will write in a variety of professional- technical genres.
• Current graduate students and qualified undergraduates are
eligible to enroll
• Get exposed to the practices and challenges of writing and
communicating across fields
• Understand concepts of visual communication and rhetoric
• Learn user experience design and multimodal composing
