Research Assistant Opportunity in Dr. Lucia Leone’s Community Health and Health Behaviors Lab

Dr. Lucia Leone in the Department of Community Health and Health Behaviors is seeking research assistants for the Fall 2018 semester. Dr. Leone’s research involves designing, implementing and evaluating multi-level and community-based interventions to increase access to healthy food and opportunities for physical activity among underserved populations. A wide variety of tasks will be available, based on qualifications. Opportunities include: database development and management (experience with REDCap a plus), quantitative and qualitative data analysis, literature reviews, administrative tasks, community outreach activities, website development, and publication for authorship.  Preferred Qualifications: Organized and detail oriented, highly motivated, strong GPA, good communication skills, ability to interact with diverse populations, and the ability to solve problems independently. Hours are flexible but must be able to dedicate 10 hours per week over the semester.
