Posted by Tim on February 16, 2016 in Community Announcements, Event, Honors Program Announcements, Networking, Research Information and Opportunities, Summer Research

This spring the Honors College has opportunities for students to present their research/creativity project poster at the following recruitment events:

CANCELLED Open House for Juniors:                       TBD in May 2016

Accepted Students Day:       Saturday, April 2nd (11:30am-1:30 pm in 106 Capen Hall)

We also strongly encourage you to participate in the university-wide Celebration of Excellence symposium on Thursday, April 7thth in the CFA atrium. More details can be found at  You MUST register for this event separately. You will present the same project/poster for this event and the Honors symposium.

Important Notes:

  • The Honors College will arrange for you to have your poster printed free of charge.
  • Paintings, video recordings, or live performances can be presented instead of a traditional poster.
  • For Advanced Honors Scholars, participation in a poster event will fulfill your thesis/project presentation requirement.

If interested, please contact Jessica Seabury at for a registration form which is due by Wednesday, February 24th. Students who also participate in the Celebration of Excellence will be given priority to participate in an Honors event.
