The Intercultural and Diversity Center presents the First Annual Student of Color (SOC) Conference!
The SOC Conference will take place on Saturday, April 4th, 2020 from 8:30 am to 4:30pm in the Student Union.
This is a one day conference for all colleges in the greater Buffalo area. Students of color will come together to be educated, empowered and inspired. Our main goal is to equip students with a skillset that will help them navigate diverse institutions and moreover the world around them but tailor it to a persons of color perspective. Our secondary goal is to create a space for these students to foster relationships, both personal and professional, that can assist in their future endeavors be them collegiate, professional or otherwise
We have professional staff members from UB and surrounding universities like Buffalo State and Erie Community College presenting! Also, our Keynote speaker is Tamara Mcmillian!
