Students’ lives and careers will have unexpected twists. Career Services is designing new ways for students to see possibilities and seek opportunities for life during COVID-19 after college.
- New! Drop-in live chat is available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday, to talk about career questions.
- Video and phone 20, 30 and 60-minute appointments can be scheduled on Bullseye powered by Handshake.
- Virtual resume + online profile labs will be offered through May.
- Virtual gatherings, featuring employers like Amazon, M&T Bank, Enterprise and local startups.
- Increasing hiring connections to enhance the number of jobs and internships available to students, especially graduating seniors.
- Collaborating with faculty for student career preparation, including interviewing, job or internship searching and salary negotiation.
- After-hours advice and coaching by UB alumni are available in the UB Career Connector Network.
- Big Interview, a practice video interviewing platform, is available to polish their interviewing skills as recruiters
