The Equity in Entrepreneurship Fellowship supports University at Buffalo students who seek to be the next generation of business leaders and progress equity in the world around them.
The program fulfills this mission by providing Equity in Entrepreneurship (EIE) fellows with professional development opportunities, resources to help facilitate their entrepreneurial growth and projects to advance equity in their business.
The Equity in Entrepreneurship Fellowship is a 10-week program open to all University at Buffalo students with a passion for entrepreneurship and equity that prepares students to make their entrepreneurial dreams a reality while building skills to promote equity in their communities through their ventures.

Are you a student with an innovative idea with a concept in its early stages of development? Then, Panasci is the perfect for you. Five finalist teams give live pitch-style presentations in April, competing for startup funding and business services valued at $75,000! First Place: $25,000 seed funding plus in-kind services valued at $40,000 for a total value of $65,000 Second Place: $10,000 seed funding The Panasci Technology Entrepreneurship Competition (Panasci TEC) was created to facilitate and promote the commercialization of UB-generated technologies. The event brings together UB students from science, technology, business and other disciplines to maximize their potential and create viable businesses in Western New York. Transgender Day of Remembrance

The Transgender Day of Remembrance has been observed annually on November 20 as a day to memorialize those who have been murdered as a result of transphobia. The day was founded to draw attention to the continued violence endured by transgender people. Join us in the lobby to remember those lost, but also to show support to transgender people.
Join us for our “Summer Opportunities Information Session” next Thursday, November 17 at 4:00pm in 107 Capen (Honors Colloquium Room), in collaboration with the University Honors College, to learn about how to make the most of your summer! It is never too early to start planning for next summer! It is beneficial to think about what programs you want to apply for now so you can begin preparing your application materials. Food will be provided at the meeting. Please RSVP below.
Find out about the benefits and requirements of our CSTEP Summer Research Program, Roswell Park Summer Research Experience Program, CLIMB UP for Summer Research, Western New York Prosperity Fellowship Program, McNair Scholars Program, LSAMP Summer Research Program and InRoads Inc., an organization that creates pathways to careers for diverse college students through internship opportunities.
Stipends range from $2,800-$5,000 for summer experiences. These summer programs are a great way to get paid while gaining valuable experience for your resume such as team building, leadership, communication and research skills. Summer programs make you a more competitive candidate for graduate and professional school and allow you to determine if research is right for you and what topics you are interested in pursuing in the future!
