Internship Opportunity with UB’s Blackstone LaunchPad

UB’s Blackstone LaunchPadis a campus-based entrepreneurship network designed to support and mentor students and alumni. We seek undergraduate students to serve as our Blackstone LaunchPad Ambassadors for Student Engagement and Recruitment (BLASER) in order to increase awareness for the opportunities that LaunchPad provides. An opportunity for UB students to gain skills and build their network through an on-campus internship experience.

LaunchPad offers two different types of BLASER internship opportunities; Project Based BLASER or Marketing Agency BLASER. 

Project Based BLASER:

Are you passionate about innovation and problem solving? Can you strike up a conversation with the wall? Do you want to learn more about leading people and running student events? Are you ready to lead a meaningful movement on campus? Are you ready to work alongside the Buffalo professional community? Are you an everyday hustler? Are you pretty organized? Are you interested in polishing your marketing and advertising skills? If you answered yes to these questions, this student internship could be for you. Earn 3-cr. in-person internship on-campus. 

Marketing Agency BLASER:

We’re seeking student interns to join the LaunchPad Marketing Agency — 3-cr. in-person internship on-campus. 

• Create video content;
• Graphic design;
• Develop social media content; or
• Write stories.

Internship requirements

• Attend all weekly meetings

• Attend at least 3 Blackstone events/workshops during the semester
• 10-12 hours per week dedicated to working on your own project (see below) and tabling
• Commit to planning 1 Blackstone event on your own. 
• Complete weekly journal, prepare and present a 10 minute final presentation about your experience.
• In total, interns must complete a minimum of 150 hours over the course of the semester, in order to receive 3 credit hours. 
• Please note, all Fall 2022 BLASER requirements for internship will be completed in-person.
