PHD Symposium at the University of Pennsylvania, October 8-10, 2020 (Deadline to apply: April 1, 2020

The Penn Honors Diversity (PHD) Symposium will be held from October 8-10, 2020 at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. The Symposium aims to particularly attract underrepresented students, especially sophomores and juniors, at colleges and universities in the Mid-Atlantic states who are interested in learning more about graduate school. Students will have the opportunity to (a) network with faculty and current graduate students, (b) learn about cutting-edge research and PhD training opportunities at Penn, (c) present their work to faculty and students in a poster session, and (d) attend workshops and seminars about the admissions process, funding opportunities, life as a graduate student, etc.

Students coming from the Mid-Atlantic States who are accepted to attend will have travel, lodging and meals covered.  The deadline to apply for the PHD Symposium is April 1, 2020. Students can learn more and apply now at https://home.www.upenn.edu/pages/penn-honors-diversity.
