Research Opportunity with Dr. Lucia Leone in Community Health and Health Behavior

Dr. Lucia Leone, a faculty member in the Department of Community Health and Health Behavior, UB School of Public Health and Health Professions, is seeking to fill multiple research assistant positions for the Spring and Summer 2020 semesters. Research assistants will be responsible for working on studies related to increasing access to healthy food in lower-income and underserved communities, and will contribute to the current Veggie Van study, in which evidence-based strategies are being used to help partners start or expand mobile market programs. Opportunities include: participant recruitment, data collection/management (experience with REDCap a plus), quantitative/qualitative data analysis, literature reviews, administrative/project coordination tasks, community outreach activities, and website/social media communication management.  Preferred Qualifications: Organized and detail oriented, highly motivated, strong GPA, good communication skills, ability to interact with diverse populations, and the ability to solve problems independently.  Seeking undergrad interested in research experience and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
