This new course explores dinosaurs as a biological group: their origin, anatomy, life habits, evolution, and extinction. Evaluates revolutionary new ideas on their physiology, behavior, and significance in the history of life. Uses dinosaurs to exemplify important evolutionary phenomena, how scientists gather new knowledge, and how that knowledge is filtered to the public via academic and popular culture routes.
