Social Media/Marketing Internship Opportunity at Marcia C. Brogan Agency

The Marcia C. Brogan Agency LLC is in need of a social media marketing person to advance the business social media presence of this small women-owned insurance agency. I am expecting to have someone that has experience in the social media field to help develop a social media strategic plan. The applicant will gain knowledge of various platforms and which platform is best to increase revenues. The strategic plan will include the following: 
  • create a timeline using the platforms such as Facebook, linked in, Instagram, and Twitter for a social media campaign
  • knowledge of the various platforms to help develop a constructive and meaningful presence in the social marketplace to increase interactions and obtain followers
  • research on the effectiveness of posts, including days and times for the most interaction
  • what entices people to “follow” or “like” a business page  
  • research on business topics that are most effective to gain insurance clients
  • suggestions of topic and length of posts  
  • how to reach a diverse population to educate and empower them
  • how to answer their need by linking other groups to our page
  • ways to engage with other business groups interact with our page
  • research on age and gender of an audience of who responds to posts and how
    • what is the average viewer  
  • ways to reach a wider range of client base  
  • reach those that need it the most by removing the intimidation of insurance jargon
  • research which type of post offers the most action items such as comments, likes, shares
  • design a specific campaign for childcare providers to interact which can lead to a business opportunity
  • create a contest and find a way that will engage them to participate
  • provide opportunities to educate to help them become a successful entrepreneur
  • link them to other sites that can help them in their mission
  • research and implement a platform for registration on Brogan website to track emails track social media to a revenue increase
  • ways to market effectively to those acquired emails
  • Compare the various platforms to compare statistics on which is better for information placement
  • Compare and contrast the various platforms and their advanced marketing levels
  • To work remotely about 3-5 hours a week, flexible hours, with school breaks included
