Honors Fusion 360 Workship December 2 at 6:00pm

Posted by Tim on November 29, 2021 in Community Announcements, Event, Workshops

When?

Thursday December 2nd 6 – 7:30 pm

Where?

Honors lounge

What?

You will get a hands-on opportunity to learn Autodesk Fusion 360, a professional computer software engineers use for Computer Aided Design (CAD) from two Autodesk employees.

Why?

CAD is a great resume booster. It is used in many higher level engineering classes, summer internships, and later in your career. The earlier you get a handle on the fundamentals of CAD, the easier the rest of your engineering career will be. You can use it to 3D print whatever you want in the Bonner 3D printing lab. (oh and there is free food)

How?

Students should follow the following instructions to create and Autodesk EDU account and download Fusion 360 PRIOR to the workshop: www.autodesk.com/fusion360edu.

They should then bring their laptops with Fusion 360 to the honors lounge on 12/2 so they can work hands-on to create their own 3D part with us.
