| We would like to invite you to apply for the Spark Program, offered by the Office of Fellowships and Scholarships. This nine-week program will help you to foster your spark of potential and engage with a number of topics, including: Learning about UB resources and opportunities. Becoming involved in on-campus research projects and off-campus service projects. Identifying your strengths and how to use them in academic and professional settings. Developing application writing materials. Networking with your peers, faculty and staff. Most of all, you will learn how to apply for competitive fellowships and scholarships, and more about the resources available at UB that will help you do it! Program Dates: Thursdays, 5:00 – 6:20 p.m. September 7 – November 2, 2023 In person | UB North Campus Deadline to apply: August 28, 2023 Learn more and apply to the Spark Program! Program Eligibility This program is open to freshmen and sophomores. Please note that the majority of fellowships and scholarships highlighted in this program do not cover the expenses of medical school, dental school, or pharmacy, and are available only to U.S. citizens. Medical, dental, or pharmacy students and international students are encouraged to explore the Office of Fellowships and Scholarships website for more opportunities. The deadline to apply for the Spark Program is August 28, 2023. |
