Sean Bennett, Professor, Department of Geography (http://www.acsu.buffalo.edu/~seanb/), is seeking to hire two (2) research assistants effective immediately. The project involves using a hydraulic flume on the North Campus to collect flow and turbulence data over an experimental bed of model mussels. The ideal candidates would be highly motivated and responsible undergraduate students with strong interests and expertise in water resources, developed analytical and programming skills (e.g., R, Matlab, Python), and able to work 10 to 15 hours per week on their own schedule. Salary will be highly competitive. Please send a one-page CV and the names of references to Sean Bennett (seanb@buffalo.edu).
