Description:  Gain knowledge in personal finance that many adults wished they had learned before entering the real world. This course is designed to provide students practical advice on how to manage your personal finances at all stages of life, from teenager to mid-career adult. Students will gain new financial skills or strengthen existing skills necessary to make practical and sound financial planning decisions. Controlling your finances is a critical function that will allow you to have clarity, avoid anxiety and seek financial freedom. This is done by setting goals, both financial & non-financial. In the course students will learn to create and maintain a personal budget and understand the importance of saving and investing, as well as the basic concepts, terms and responsibilities involved in using credit and credit cards. Students will also learn other financial planning topics such as banking, taxes, health insurance, marriage, end of life planning and much more!
